The Challenge: Understanding the journey of web3 blockchain founders to better serve them and their awesome projects.

Our Approach: How do we start all of our projects? That's right - research! We talked to people. Lots of people. Founders, folks that provide services to the founders, folks that work for the founder's startups.

We learned a ton - navigating the resources of our org was hard. Being an entrepreneur is exciting! Exhausting! Difficult! We then condensed everything we heard into a single journey - complete with pain points, opportunities, and bright spots. Then we brainstormed (using blue stickies) on top of the journey.

We then refined the blue stickies into a blue-sky model of what an ideal accellerator program would look like. The intention that this new model would make lives easier for the founders - making resources and pathways easier to find - and giving a everyone (founders, leadership, and service providers alike) in our org a clear idea of how a path from seed to exit could look. We brought in real founders to our workshop space for feedback on the product so we could continue to iterate. Yep - our prototype was a drawing on a whiteboard.

After the workshop we wanted to deliver something to the web3 founders in our ecosystem to let them know we had heard them. That their input and their journey was being thought about and improved upon. We also wanted them to be inspired to be working within our org along with being the pioneers of blockchain and web3! Since we're advocates of dogfooding our own processes, we went from sketch...
